The garden

The garden is designed to promote biodiversity and provide a welcoming habitat for various plant and animal species. The cottage garden style uses an informal design, traditional materials, dense plantings, and a mix of ornamental and edible plants, based on grace and charm rather than grandeur and formal structure. Paths, wrought iron pergolas, the gazebo, and the use of local stones give the garden a casual, immersive look.

It’s a magical place to reconnect with nature, restoring balance and strength. The garden’s layout represents the Tree of Life, which also appears in the logo. Building the garden around this powerful and auspicious symbol adds deeper meaning to the outdoor space, creating an environment that inspires connection and growth—a unique way to make the garden a symbolic and aesthetically pleasing refuge.

Flowering arches connected to the villa and the dépendance adorned with colorful and fragrant climbing roses create an intimate and welcoming atmosphere, inviting guests to explore and enjoy the beauty of the surrounding nature. The garden presents itself as a kaleidoscope of colors and scents, designed to reconnect every guest with nature, offering a refuge to regain balance and serenity. Each element is crafted to create an unforgettable experience that leaves a lasting impression on visitors, promising to evolve and enrich over time.

Grove of Ancient Oaks

The garden includes an orchard with a wide range of fruit trees, offering guests the chance to savor fresh organic fruit during their stay. The true protagonist of the garden is a dense and ancient oak grove that extends over half an acre. Hammocks are hung between the oaks, providing a tranquil and sheltered spot where guests can rest, read a book, or simply enjoy the sound of birds and the cool breeze.

Arches adorned with colorful, fragrant climbing plants envelop the main house and the dépendance, creating an enchanting and romantic atmosphere. With over 200 varieties of flowers blooming year-round, the garden remains vibrant and evocative in every season. Among these, over 15 types of ancient and reblooming roses enchant visitors, stimulating the five senses: the enveloping fragrance of the flowers, the sight of their vibrant colors, the delicate touch of the petals, accompanied by the sound of the breeze rustling through the leaves and the gentle flapping of bird and butterfly wings, along with the sweet buzzing of bees dancing among the flowers. This garden is a true feast for the senses, capable of leaving a lasting impression on all who visit.

Pure Drinking Water from Our Well

The villa relies on a well of crystal-clear water as the primary source of water supply to meet the needs of our guests. The water from the well is of high quality, fresh, and safe for human consumption, eliminating the need to purchase bottled water. Reusable water bottles will be provided to offer guests a convenient and practical option to carry water during their outdoor activities, such as relaxing in the garden, swimming in the pool, or exploring nearby art cities or the seaside. This initiative aims to raise awareness among guests about the importance of reducing plastic use and encourages them to adopt more sustainable lifestyles, even beyond Villa AltoGiardino.

Garden Paths

The paths that meander through the garden invite villa guests to discover a range of unique experiences. They can express their wishes beneath the majestic legendary chestnut, indulge in moments of tranquil relaxation, sip an aperitif at sunset in the charming antique gazebo, enjoy delicious barbecues outdoors, or work out in the fitness area. This is an experience that fully celebrates the beauty and variety of outdoor life.

Located in an area characterized by a dry climate, the villa offers a cool and comfortable refuge, even during the hot days of July and August. Evenings are particularly pleasant, with an environment almost free of mosquitoes, making every moment even more enjoyable.
